When reviewing a software, the screenshot upload option will appear when you select that you're a current user of the product/service.
Our moderation team uses screenshots to verify reviews, but rest assured these images are never displayed publicly or shared with anyone else.
Since we use screenshots for verification, there are a few things that should be included in it. Our team looks for a username, company name, business email, or other proof of ownership to verify that you are the owner of the account. Our team also checks for usage - current or recent - that attests to the recency of your use of said product.
If necessary, sensitive information can be covered or blurred as long as the screenshot is still useful for verification.
If the screenshot submitted has been severely modified or greatly altered from its original version, the screenshot may be omitted from the approval process and can lead to a rejection of the review.
