G2 ensures authenticity in published reviews using a number of factors:
- We require all users to log in with a business email address or LinkedIn account. All published reviews include this badge:
- We ask software reviewers for screenshots to verify that they are current users. Reviews that include validated screenshots receive this badge:
- Each G2 review is checked by a human. Reviewers who have a business relationship with a provider (or their competitor) that could create bias (such as resellers) can share insight, but their reviews do not count toward the G2 score. We flag these reviews with a "Business Partner" label:
- We exclude company employees from reviewing their own products and services or those of competitors.
